Subject: Two questions

Dear Mr. Ghods,

Recently EUROPEAN UNION announced a tender titled “ Enhancing the capabilities of the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) and supporting the implementation of the Stress tests at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant ”. See as an attachment the contract notice. We (Risk Engineering) start preparatory work for participation ion that tender. We are preparing our application for participation in Lot 2 – Support to the Bushehr nuclear power plant operator to perform the stress tests exercise . My question is if Tavana will accept to join to the project as our subcontractor in case we win the project?

One more question related to the performing Bushehr NPP’S surveillance tests. We had very extensive talks with KozNPP and our Metal institute in Sofia. The laboratory in Kozloduy is with very limited functions. It is almost serve as a storage of the specimens. In the Metal institute they have a laboratory but only with limited functions. All tests of the specimens of KozNPP are done in Korchatov Institute in Moscow. Since we worked in tha pass with Korchatov institute in some projects and we are working ith them in two other projects here in BG we can work with them to solve the problem with Bushehr NPP. Today I will have a meeting with the local representative of Kurchatov institute here in Sofia. May I share your request for proposal with them?

We are in close contacts with AREVA also. I can talk with them also with your permission.
