Subject: Participation in the Europen tender

Dear Sir,

UJV is interested to participate in a tender announced by the European Commission on Enhancing the capabilities of the Iranian Nuclear Regulatory Authority (INRA) and supporting the implementation of the Stress tests at the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant, Location – Iran.

The service contract notice is attached for information.

UJV is interested to participate in Lot 2, which is aimed to support the Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant operator (NPPD) in the post-Fukushima nuclear safety Stress Test self-assessment for BNPP-1. It should be noted, that it is not possible to participate in parallel in both Lot 1 and Lot 2, only one should be selected.

We have broad experience in performing and evaluating NPP stress tests both at national as well as at international level, so that we can contribute to successful completion of such activity also for Bushehr NPP. In addition, UJV is also considering to cooperate in this project with the TRACTEBEL (Belgium) to strengthen the competences by another experienced partner in a consortium.

Since we sincerely believe that close involvement of a local partner is essential for such project, we would like to ask you whether TAVANA is interested in participation with us as a local partner in this consortium. You may also indicate your suggestion for another composition of the consortium. We are confident that in the considered composition of the consortium we have a good chance to be contracted for this task.

Since preparation of the proposal takes a lot of time, the matter is quite urgent. We would therefore appreciate your kind consideration and response as soon as possible. In case of your acceptance, for flexible communication it would be convenient to establish a direct contact point for preparation of the offer (name, e-mail and phone number).

Since we don't have received any reply from your company, we have written this letter to ask our request once again. Could you please send your technical proposal including estimated price, time, schedule, etc for the activities mentioned in our previous letter?
