I am happy to say that we have received what I think is a positive response from the UK Government with regards to the issue of “Export Control” in the context of the proposed Mutual Co-Operation with you.
I am sorry this has all taken some time, but amongst other things there has been a change of Prime Minister in the UK, and major ministerial reorganisations.
We have been told that we need to gain an “End-use certification”, under UN Security Council Resolution 2231 (2015), from the relevant Iranian authority. We believe this is the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran.
There is a form to fill in, initially by us, explaining the kinds of technology involved, and the purpose to which it will be applied. We will of course consult you over this as appropriate.
After that, it will be necessary for the concurrence and signature of the Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran to be sought.
We will begin completing the form, and will be in touch shortly.
