NPPs Safety Development and Improvement (TAVANA) as a scientific and technical support of BNPP-1 (Bushehr Nuclear Power Plant Unit 1) has been established in 2014. TAVANA Company is a subsidiary company of Nuclear Power Production and Development (www.nppd.co.ir). NPPD is an Operational Organization of Nuclear Power Plant in IRAN and this company is one of the subsidiaries of Atomic Energy Organization of IRAN.
TAVANA Company is responsible for rendering scientific and technical support services to the BNPP-1 in various areas such as: nuclear safety analyses, radiation monitoring, waste management, nuclear reactor physics, electrical and instrumentation and etc. The main goal of TAVANA Company is rendering optimal scientific and technical services to the BNPP-1 by cooperation with domestic and foreign companies.
