thanks to your E.mail, before i will answer your questions about Roadmapping in NPPD, i like to explain you that in the last year we complete the project about Scenario planing in Nuclear Power Plant Development in Iran until 2030. For Scenario Planning we use the method of Peter Schwartz and Delphi method. If you want we can talk more detail about this methodology in the next meeting that we see each other in Iran.

We, in the NPPD planning department, assume that can use Roadmapping for Strategic Planning by consider to outputs of Scenario Planning project. In other words we want to use the output of Scenario planning as input in Roadmappng process and Formulating Technology Strategy. In the Technology Strategy we must identify that we want to rely on other countries to technology development or we must use domestic capabilities to develop NPP.

Important objects of Roadmapping in NPPD by consider to facilitate localization of NPP technology in Iran is:

1- Identify trends in power market in iran and segmentation of it by consider to Nuclear Power development,
2-Identify Strategic Technology Units in NPP development in Iran,
3-Formulating technology Strategies for NPP developments in Iran.

We choose the T-Plan method for Roadmappng and Time horizon for Roadmapping is until 2030. Also we want to use expert panel to gather and analyze required information. If possible, we want to cooperate with you and KEPCO in Technology Strategy Formulating. You can consultant us in methodology or in prepare Roadmap in detail. This cooperation is depend on you and your company terms.
