Thank you for your email. The main topics for clarification or confirmation would be :

· Number of surveillance capsules/ samples to be tested.

· Design of the surveillance capsules/ samples: drawings, dimensions, material, etc.

· Scope of supplies and services.

· Schedule for the evaluation of the capsules/ samples.
Technical requirements for the Hot Cells:

· Modalities of delivery and commissioning of the hot cells.

Please find attached for your general information two brochures, 1) overview/ summary of the Technical Center activities and 2) summary regarding “irradiation behavior of materials – comprehensive assessment of materials behavior depending on time of operation and neutron irradiation in power and research reactors”
For your information, we postponed our trip to Tehran planned from November 7th-10th. We were informed by AEOI that NPPD will not be available to meet us during this period. We have reorganized our agendas accordingly and proposed to the AEOI to be in Tehran from Sunday December 11th to Thursday December 15th, with the possibility of meetings on Monday December 12th, Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th.

Could you please identify the agenda of the meeting? In other words, please identify the ambiguities and questions of your company regarding surveillance test program of Bushehr NPP, specify required documents and reports to be prepared in the meeting, clarify subjects to be discussed, etc.

Dear Mr. Ghods, Salam.

Last June during our visit in Tehran we had a first contact between NPPD and AREVA NP. At the end of this meeting which allowed us to preliminary identify topics of interest for NPPD and its subsidiaries, NPPD (Mr. Rohanifar and Mr. Doustmohamadi) expressly asked us to come back soon with more detailed information about the support AREVA NP could bring them. During this meeting the RPV surveillance specimens test facility was also underlined by your colleagues as important for them.

We received your Request for Quotation for a technical and commercial proposal of the NPP surveillance specimens test. We are clearly interested by and we began to work on it. However we need more clarification and precision at the level of detail which will allow AREVA NP to establish adequate offer and quotation.
For your information we (AREVA NP) will be in Tehran from Monday November 7th – 9th and our delegation will be composed by myself, Mr. Ludovic Devos (VP.worldwide VVER servicing activities) and Mr. Othman Salhi (VP. VVER activities).
During this trip we will have a meetings with NPPD and we have to meet TAVANA too. This meeting will allow us to perform all technical clarifications work for your request and prepare an offer adapted to your needs.
For your information, the organization of our meetings with NPPD (and I hope with TAVANA also) is managed by the International Relation Department of AEOI (Mr. Ali Akbar Rezaei).
